The Richfield Cemetery Association is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the preservation, maintenance, and respectful stewardship of the historic Richfield Cemetery. Our History

Richfield Cemetery has been a part of the community for generations—serving as the final resting place for veterans, pioneers, loved ones, and community leaders. The cemetery stands not only as a place of remembrance, but also as a testament to the lives and stories of our community’s past.

The Richfield Cemetery Association was established by concerned citizens who recognized the importance of preserving this heritage. Through volunteer efforts, community donations, and responsible governance, we ensure that the cemetery remains properly maintained and protected from neglect or disrepair.

What We Do

• Cemetery Maintenance & Preservation
  We manage the ongoing care of the grounds, including landscaping, headstone repair, and infrastructure upkeep. Our commitment is to maintain a serene and respectful environment for visitors.

• Historical Preservation
  We work to document and preserve the stories of those buried here. This includes archival research, historical tours, and maintaining accurate burial records.

• Community Engagement
  We organize volunteer days, remembrance events, and educational outreach to connect the community with its history and heritage.

• Burial Services & Plot Management
  We oversee the allocation and sale of burial plots, ensuring fair and transparent practices for families who wish to inter loved ones at Richfield Cemetery.
